Africa-Press – Mozambique. A 30-year-old man is currently being held at the PRM District Command of Ile for allegedly killing his mother.
The case, which has shocked the police authorities, took place on the 10th of this month in the village of Nhabo, Ile district, Zambézia province.
Speaking this Monday (17-10), police spokesperson for Zambézia, Sidiner Lonzo, recounted that the man had returned home from work with a significant amount of fish, and asked his mother to prepare a meal.
His mother duly cooked part of the fish, but when the meal was served, the young man was displeased with the amount of food on his plate and started to kick and punch the 50-year-old woman, who could not resist her injuries and later died.
