Africa-Press – Mozambique. A tanker truck transporting fuel from Nacala to Milange on National Highway Number One (EN1) saw all its tires reduced to ashes in Nipiode this Sunday (23-10).
Witnesses told Diário da Zambézia that the rear tires of the truck burst into flames first, but by sheer luck the fuel tank itself did not explode.
The causes of the blaze are not yet known, but it is suspected that there was a mechanical problem with the truck’s wheels.
