Africa-Press – Mozambique. Three dumped corpses were found in the village of Metangula, Lago district, Niassa province on Monday (July 19).
The bodies were discovered by a group of women near the road from the village to the city of Lichinga.
One of the women told Radio Mozambique that the victims were all male, and all had a cloth placed over their faces.
They appeared to be tied up, and to show signs of torture, she added.
The discovery of the unexplained corpses is causing fear among the village residents, it being the first case of its kind in the vicinity.
