Africa-Press – Mozambique. Two more vehicles with Mozambican number plates were torched by a group of people residing in the interior of the province of Kwazulu-Natal (KZN), in South Africa, in the same places where, about two weeks ago, another seven were burned down, Domingo reports.
Because of this, the border authorities of both countries advise against using that route which is the shortest to reach Durban for people travelling from Mozambique.
One vehicle was set on fire on Friday, February 10th, and a second was burned at dawn on Saturday, February 11th, and a third vehicle managed to pass through the critical area in the morning of the same day, but was riddled with bullets, without the occupants being injured.
These acts take place at a time when the deadline “offered” by the communities of Mbazwana, Hluhluwe and others from remote areas in the interior of the province of Kwazulu-Natal, to the police authorities of Mozambique and South Africa for the resolution of their concerns.
