Africa-Press – Mozambique. The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, in his capacity as Commander-in-Chief of the Defence and Security Forces, visited the Ministry of Defence this Wednesday, where he interacted with members of that institution’s Advisory Board.
During the visit, the Head of State visited the Marine Corps Barracks, the Artillery Practical School and Maputo Naval Base.
The purpose of the visit was to learn about the operation of the military units in question, and to provide guidance within the scope of the modernization process currently underway in Mozambique’s armed forces.
