Africa-Press – Mozambique. Grupo Entreposto, which has for 40 years been operating in Mozambique, is to start selling second-hand vehicles.
The new approach aims to respond to the limited financial capacity of citizens to purchase new cars.
Despite the used-car market in Mozambique being consolidated into a handful of private operators who import used vehicles into the country, Entreposto intends to roll out the new business line in Maputo city before expanding to other provinces.
“We want to bring this used car experience to Mozambique. We understand that we can create another dynamic with the line of vehicles that we are going to put on the market,” said Jorge Brito, director of operations at Grupo Entreposto Moçambique, quoted by AIM.
Entreposto is a major player in the Mozambican market, selling vehicles and agricultural and industrial machinery.
