Africa-Press – Mozambique. The Frelimo party in Maputo province says it is investigating the origin of the rumours which associate the party with intentions to tarnish the ongoing voter registration in the country’s 65 municipalities, Rádio Moçambique reports today.
The first secretary of Frelimo in Maputo province, Avelino Muchine, speaking this Wednesday during a visit to Boane municipality, indicated social media as one of the spaces used to foment rumours compromising the reputation of his party.
Muchine said he would bring to the bar of justice the promoters of rumours associating Frelimo with the alleged intention of tarnishing voter registration.
