Africa-Press – Mozambique. Five people died and another thirty-two were injured in an accident in Matutuíne district, Maputo province this Sunday.
The accident involved an open-top van of the ‘MyLlove’ type [carrying passengers] travelling in the Maputo-Ponta do Ouro direction, which skidded and rolled.
Some of the injured were taken to Matutuíne District Hospital, but the most serious to Maputo Central and José Macamo hospitals in the capital, according to the director of the District Services for Health, Women and Social Action, Tânia Mabota.
Also in Maputo province this Sunday, a semi-collective passenger transport vehicle travelling from Gaza to Maputo burned out in Maluana, Manhiça district, but without causing fatalities.
