Africa-Press – Mozambique. Two people were burned to death and two others suffered serious injuries in a crash in the Incaia area, Bilene district, Gaza province, yesterday.
According to Gaza police spokesman Carlos Macuácua, the accident involved a semi-collective passenger transport vehicle plying the Macia-Chissano route and another light vehicle (Isuzu brand) travelling in the opposite direction.
The semi-collective caught fire and two passengers burned to death at the scene, while the drivers of both vehicles contracted serious injuries.
Macuácua said that unsafe overtaking on the part of the passenger mini-bus was most probably the cause of the accident, combined with the excessive speed of both vehicles.
