Africa-Press – Mozambique. Linhas Aéreas de Moçambique (LAM) has since last Saturday (12-08) been offering more affordable tickets to and from Maputo, Beira, and Vilankulo to Johannesburg (South Africa).
The new prices apply to the first five passengers on each flight who purchase tickets for the following routes: Maputo-Johannesburg (6,650 meticais ), Johannesburg-Maputo (1,300 rand), Beira-Johannesburg (4,765 meticais ) and Johannesburg-Beira (1,516 rand).
The cheapest prices for Vilankulo-Johannesburg (8,510.00 meticais ) and Johannesburg-Vilankulo (2,495 rand) cover the first ten (10) passengers on each flight.
If discounted fares run out, customers are advised to check flights on subsequent days.
The best availability of tickets is found by purchasing online through the website www.lam.co.mz.
With the aim of encouraging domestic passengers to use the flag carrier, LAM has been offering increasingly attractive prices, as well as adjusting flight schedules.
For example, the Maputo-Johannesburg route now has a flight departing from Maputo at 9:00 p.m..
Still in the context of this optimization of services, the airline waived the Saturday morning flight on the route in question, while maintaining the other two Saturday flights, departing Maputo at 11:25 a.m. and 5:35 p.m..
