Africa-Press – Mozambique. President Filipe Nyusi arrived in Zimbabwe this morning to attend the inauguration president-elect Emmerson Mnangagwa.
Mozambican President, H.E Filipe Jacinto Nyusi has arrived for his counterpart, Zimbabwe’s President-Elect, Dr. ED Mnangagwa’s inauguration.
Mnangagwa won a second term in office after the country went to the polls late last month.
Some of the leaders attending include China’s Vice President Han Zheng, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, Democratic Republic of Congo President Felix Tshisekedi, Belarus’ Deputy Prime Minister, Tanzania’s Prime Minister Cassim Majaliwa, Nigeria’s Vice President Kashim Shettima, Rwanda’s Senate President François Xavier Kalinda, SADC’s Executive Secretary Elias Magosi and representatives from the ANC, SWAPO, Frelimo, MPLA, BDP and Malawi Congress Party among other foreign dignitaries, The Herald Zimbabwe reports.
The inauguration will go ahead at the National Sports Stadium, in Harare, .exactly nine days after the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) declared President Mnangagwa as the winner of the polls,
