Africa-Press – Mozambique. This Friday, the Moamba toll plaza, in Maputo province, has started to charge new rates.
Toll rates increased from 210 to 240 meticais for class 1 vehicles, from 530 to 600 meticais for class 2vehicles. Class 3 vehicles now pay 1,200 meticais, against the previous 1,150, while for class 4 vehicles, the hike is from 1,600 to 1,800 meticais.
Fenias Mazive, manager at Trans African Concessions Pty Ltd ][TracN4 Toll Route] , the c company that manages national highway number 4 (N4), told Rádio Moçambique that this price hike that does not cover semi-collective and public transportation vehicles.
