Africa-Press – Mozambique. Issa Tarmamade has invited Ibo natives and friends based in Maputo city and province to invest in the future Municipality of Ibo, a communique by the Ibo District Government reads.
The invitation was conveyed on Tuesday, September 5, during a meeting at the Corporate Business School (CBS – Escola Superior de Gestão Corporativa e Social) in Maputo.
As Ibo District Administrator and Frelimo head of list in the municipal elections, Issa Tarmamade urged Ibo natives spread throughout the country and in the diaspora to invest to the benefit of their homeland.
Tarmamade said that the doors are open for his executive to facilitate everything necessary, especially in obtaining the Land Use and Benefit Right titles (DUATs) for the construction of holiday homes, tourism resorts and other economic and social undertakings.
“The Iboenses cannot forget their origins, as that land really needs its sons and daughters to advance towards a better future,” he recalled.
The meeting was chaired by Comrade Namoto Chipande, Deputy Chief of the Frelimo Central Assistance Brigade for the Province of Cabo Delgado, and was attended by Comrades Celmira da Silva, former Governor of Cabo Delgado Province, and Manuel Alvarinho Carrilho, who represented the ‘Naturals e Amigos do Ibo’ at the event, among others.
The following meeting with Ibo natives and friends, this time those residing in the city of Pemba, took place on Tuesday, September 12.
