Africa-Press – Mozambique. A trader identified as Mustafa Raza was kidnapped on Saturday, in Beira, by armed men who left the crime scene without leaving a trace.

According to O Autarca, this young man is reportedly a citizen of Pakistan and was abducted outside the Sika Bakery, in the Pioneiros neighbourhood, at around 3pm this Saturday.

The kidnapping in Beira takes place two days after the son of a businessman in the city of Maputo was kidnapped in the early morning of March 7th, on a very busy street, as he left his residence, in the Alto-Maè neighbourhood, at around 8:30 am. four armed individuals.

The victim is called Saif Arif, son of businessman Arif Judje.

Kidnap victim released on Friday

Meanwhile, on Friday ,businessman Mohammed Hussein Calú was released by his kidnappers. Calé is the, owner of the Atlântico warehouses. and had been kidnapped on January 20, 2024, in downtown Maputo, along Ho Chi Minh Avenue, in an area with several police infrastructures. “Integrity” has information according to which t he was released after the family paying a considerable ransom.
