Africa-Press – Mozambique. President Filipe Nyusi is today a working visits in the provinces of Nampula and Cabo Delgado, indicates a statement received this Wednesday evening by Noticias editorial staff.
According to the statement, Nyusi, in his capacity as Commander-in-Chief of the Defence and Security Forces (FDS) will receive, in the morning in Nampula, the greeting of the Superior Command of the FADM, at the Military Academy Marshal Samora Moisés Machel, on the occasion of the Day of the Armed Forces for the Defence of Mozambique and will inaugurate the swimming pool with Olympic dimensions, for training cadets and l visit the modernised library of this military institution.
In the afternoon, the Head of State travels to the city of Pemba, in Cabo Delgado province, to launch the digital television signal, an act that represents the last stage in the transition of the provincial studios from analogue to digital .
On this visit, President Nyusi will be accompanied by his wife, Isaura Ferrão Nyusi, by the Ministers of National Defence, Jaime Neto; of Transport and Communications, Janfar Abdulai, and by members of staff of the Presidency of the Republic and other State institutions.
