Africa-Press – Mozambique. The Minister of National Defence, Cristóvão Chume, will participate from today until Sunday in the 17th International Defence Industry Fair (IDEF – 2025), taking place in Istanbul, Turkey.
During the fair, Chume will hold a bilateral meeting with his Turkish counterpart, Yasar Guler, where they will review the status of bilateral cooperation and its strengthening in the defence sector.
The Mozambican defence minister’s work schedule also includes courtesy meetings with defence ministers from other countries invited to the exhibition, as well as with representatives of several exhibiting companies.
IDEF is a biennial exhibition held in Turkey, organized by the Turkish Ministry of National Defence, and serves as a global platform for the defence industry to showcase its latest developments.
