Africa-Press – Mozambique. The Technical Committee of the Inclusive National Political Dialogue received computer equipment yesterday to facilitate its work, which includes public consultation with stakeholders to ensure greater citizen participation.
The equipment was delivered by Edo Stork, representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), to Technical Committee president Edson Macuácua.
Macuácua said that everything was ready for the launch of the public consultation, an event to be presided over at the Joaquim Chissano International Conference Centre by President Daniel Chapo on September 10.
“The public consultation will take place throughout the country and the diaspora, involving all social strata, namely political parties, civil society, youth, women, academics, farmers, economic agents, socio-professional organizations and cultural producers,” Macuácua explained.
Edson Macuácua further emphasized that, in order to achieve greater coverage, meetings will be organized with a diverse audience, roundtables for thematic and specialized discussions with specific groups, and individual meetings with prominent figures from the political, civil, academic and cultural fields.
