Africa-Press – Mozambique. The Provincial Command of the Republic of Mozambique Police in Gaza yesterday suspended the entire police team on duty at the Incoluane checkpoint.
The measure aims to investigate the circumstances under which the vehicle was allowed to proceed outside the period established for passenger transport vehicles.
The information was shared this afternoon by the head of Public Relations at the Gaza Provincial Command, Carlos Macuácua, speaking upon leaving a meeting to evaluate the force’s activities.
Macuácua explained that the suspension of the group’s activities aims to assess the level of involvement of each officer on duty during the fateful morning in Xinavane and Chongoene.
