Africa-Press – Mozambique. A total of 160 young entrepreneurs from the city and provinces of Maputo and Manica received funding today under the Youth Initiatives Support Fund (FAIJ), amounting to nine million meticais, to boost youth-led projects with potential for income generation and job creation.
The ceremony took place at the Matola Commercial and Industrial Institute and was presided over by the Minister of Youth and Sports, Caifadine Manasse, as part of the 2025 Economic and Social Plan. The selected projects underwent a rigorous technical evaluation, and the disbursement will be formalized through contracts with the Commercial and Investment Bank (BCI).
