Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>Frelimo general secretary Roque Silva Samuel visited Mangunde, in Chibabava, on Friday with the aim of greeting the r\u00e9gulo [ traditional chief] and conveying greetings from the President of the Republic. The visit was part of Roque Silva\u2019s tour of Sofala province.<\/p>\n

The father of the late Renamo leader Afonso Dhlakama thanked the President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, for his support.<\/p>\n

Macacho Marceta Dlhakama also commented on the head of state securing him special care when he was recently hospitalised at Beira Central Hospital.<\/p>\n

He took the opportunity to express some concerns regarding the condition of his residence, which he said had lately been leaking, and also asked for a \u2018chieftaincy [regulado\u2019] subsidy, a water source, a tractor, and improvement of the access road, among others things.<\/p>\n

The father of the deceased Renamo leader received from the Secretary General of Frelimo some essential food products, and in return offered him a goat.<\/p>\n

Macacho Marceta Dlhakama is 82 years old, says that he has more than 60 children and does not remember how many grandchildren.<\/p>\n
