Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>Following the improvement of security conditions, the process of returning to their areas of origin victims terrorism currently finding refuge in the district of Mecula, Niassa province, ends this week.<\/p>\n

By this Wednesday, of the 1,192 families that had been resettled in the district, 335 from the villages of Naulala 1 and 2 were still awaiting the conclusion of the process, which takes place in tandem with home reconstruction.<\/p>\n

The figures were shared by the National Institute for Disaster Risk Reduction (INGD) delegate in Niassa, Friday Taibo.<\/p>\n

More than 5,000 people displaced by terrorist attacks were accommodated at the reception centre in the main town of Mecula, in Niassa province.<\/p>\n
