Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>Instagram is testing a new feature that will do away with the top stories bar and display everything in an immersive full screen and swipeable UI.<\/p>\n

This feature, as posted by app researcher Alessandro Paluzzi will let the user experience the feed posts, stories and reels within a single flow.<\/p>\n

Stories would be presented with a frame bar at the bottom of the display, indicating you can swipe left to see the other frames. Videos have a progress bar instead.<\/p>\n

The feature will evolve to align with that of TikTok. This will enable them to choose the \u2018perfect\u2019 content for you based on a measure of your response to that specific content.<\/p>\n

On TikTok, likes and the number of times you view a specific content helps them identify the interesting content which aligns with your profile and helps them improve your feed recommendation.<\/p>\n

Last year, Instagram Chief Adam Mosseri said it will double down its focus on video formats around reels.<\/p>\n

This saw Instagram merging the Feed video and IGTV into one format- Instagram video.<\/p>\n
