Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>The Assembly of the Republic last Thursday (24-03) approved, in general and by consensus, the proposal to revise the law that creates the National Migration Service.<\/p>\n

The instrument will allow the creation of administrative detention centres to accommodate foreign citizens found to be in an irregular migratory situation.<\/p>\n

Minister of Justice, Constitutional and Religious Affairs Helena Kida explained to parliament that the proposed revision would contribute to the fight against illegal immigration.<\/p>\n

Also on Thursday, parliament approved the proposed revisions to the legal regime for Civil Identification and Identity Card for national citizens and the instrument on Copyright and Related Rights.<\/p>\n
