The new update will help users make the most of their audio interaction.<\/p>\n

Pause\/Resume Recording<\/b><\/p>\n

: When recording a voice message, you can now pause the recording and resume when ready, in case you\u2019re interrupted or need to gather your thoughts.<\/p>\n

Out of Chat Playback<\/b><\/p>\n

: Listen to a voice message outside of the chat so you can multitask or read and respond to other messages.<\/p>\n

Waveform Visualization<\/b><\/p>\n

: Shows a visual representation of the sound on the voice message to help follow the recording.<\/p>\n

Draft Preview<\/b><\/p>\n

: Listen to your voice messages before sending them.<\/p>\n

Remember Playback<\/b><\/p>\n

: If you pause when listening to a voice message, you can pick up where you left off when you return to the chat.<\/p>\n

Fast Playback on Forwarded Messages<\/b><\/p>\n

: Play voice messages at 1.5x or 2x speeds to listen to messages faster on both regular and forwarded messages.<\/p>\n

The features will be rolled out in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n

So far, more than seven billion voice messages are sent through WhatsApp per day.<\/p>\n
