Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>Thirty two teams will flex muscles at the FIFA 2022 World Cup in Qatar, according to a draw released on Friday.<\/p>\n

The world\u2019s media converged on Doha\u2019s Exhibition and Convention Centre to witness the colorful ceremony.<\/p>\n

The World Cup draw was conducted by eight former players and managers, including Cafu, Lothar Matthaus, Jay-Jay Okocha, Tim Cahill, Adel Ahmed MalAllah, Ali Daei, Bora Milutinovic and Rabah Madjer.<\/p>\n

The tournament will be played in November and December later in the year. The teams are broken down into eight groups with four teams each.<\/p>\n

The top two teams will advance into the knockout stages of the tournament.<\/p>\n

Below are the eight groups.<\/p>\n

Group A: Qatar, Ecuador, Netherlands, Senegal<\/p>\n

Group B: England, Iran, USA, Scotland\/Wales\/Ukraine<\/p>\n

Group C: Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Poland<\/p>\n

Group D: France, UAE\/Australia\/Peru, Denmark, Tunisia<\/p>\n

Group E: Spain, Costa Rica\/New Zealand, Germany, Japan<\/p>\n

Group F: Belgium, Canada, Morocco, Croatia<\/p>\n

Group G: Brazil, Serbia, Switzerland, Cameroon<\/p>\n

Group H: Portugal, Ghana, Uruguay, South Korea<\/p>\n
