Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>WhatsApp is a very convenient messaging application that is growing by the day, letting users exchange links and send messages, photos, documents, audio and videos.<\/p>\n

The platform also allows users to share their location whether live or current.<\/p>\n

Sharing current location means the user shares his or her specific location at a particular time, whereas in live location there is continuous location sharing, even when the venue or location changes.<\/p>\n

The location-sharing feature is end-to-end encrypted which means the data is not stored anywhere on WhatsApp servers. This cannot be viewed, tampered with, used or monitored by anyone else.<\/p>\n

How to share your location<\/b><\/p>\n

Step 1<\/b><\/p>\n

Enable your phone\u2019s location in order to access the GPS on your device.<\/p>\n

Step 2<\/b><\/p>\n

Open the WhatsApp application, then enter the chat where you want to share the location<\/p>\n

Step 3<\/b><\/p>\n

At the bottom of the display, tap the paper clip icon.<\/p>\n

Step 4<\/b><\/p>\n

From the menu that opens, select \u2018Location\u2019.<\/p>\n

Step 5<\/b><\/p>\n

Share your live location for a specific amount of time or your current location.<\/p>\n

You have the option of ending the live location by clicking \u2018Stop sharing\u2019 in the chat.<\/p>\n
