Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>NB Mozambique has been awarded Best Investment Bank in Mozambique for 2022 in collaboration with its shareholders\u2019 corporate and investment bank, Rand Merchant Bank (RMB).<\/p>\n

The award, from the prestigious Global Finance magazine, is in recognition of the bank\u2019s role in the conclusion of significant landmark deals performed in partnership with RMB.<\/p>\n

FNB Mozambique proudly participated in the flagship Coral Sul (South) Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) unit project, in collaboration with RMB. This project represents a tremendous achievement for not only Mozambique\u2019s economy but for the African continent as a whole.<\/p>\n

Global Finance editors, with input from industry experts, used a series of criteria including entries from banks, market share, number and size of deals, service and advice, structuring capabilities, distribution network, efforts to address market conditions, innovation, pricing, after-market performance of underwritings and market reputation to score and select winners, based on a proprietary algorithm. Deals announced or completed in 2021 were considered.<\/p>\n

Peter Blenkinsop, FNB Mozambique Chief Executive Officer (CEO) said: \u201cWe are honoured to be recognized by the Global Finance Awards as Best Investment Bank in Mozambique alongside RMB. Whilst RMB was at the forefront of the Coral Sul project, this award demonstrates through strong collaboration an optimal solution can be achieved for our clients.<\/p>\n
