Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>The Council of Ministers yesterday approved the reclassification of national airports in order to respond to traffic demand and guarantee the optimal management of national airspace.<\/p>\n

A statement from the Council of Ministers received in the \u2018Not\u00edcias\u2019 newsroom states that the measure aims to restructure airports in line with the Chicago Convention on International Civil Aviation.<\/p>\n

The new decree revokes the one which was in effect until yesterday.<\/p>\n

In its 12th session, the Council of Ministers also assessed information on preparations for FACIM-2022, and the 2021 agricultural trade balance.<\/p>\n

The cabinet also considered the report on the visit to Mozambique, from the 3rd to the 6th of April, of President of Zimbabwe, Emmerson Mnangagwa, and of Mozambique\u2019s participation in the virtual extraordinary summit of the SADC Troika Organ (plus SAMIM personnel-contributing countries).<\/p>\n

It also evaluated the state visit of the President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, to the Republic of Botswana, from the 13th to the 16th of the current month.<\/p>\n
