Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>The Ugandan government intends to award decorations to around 800 Mozambican fighters who distinguished themselves in the fall of the dictatorial regime led by Idi Amin Dada.<\/p>\n

As a way of recognising the support provided by the Mozambican Defence Forces,<\/p>\n

Honorary titles will be awarded in three of the most relevant categories in Uganda.<\/p>\n

To this end, a file will be sent to the Mozambican Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, which will in turn refer it to the relevant bodies.<\/p>\n

Radio Mozambique learned in Kampala that, once this request is accepted, the Ugandan government will make preparations for a ceremony awarding the honorary titles later this year.<\/p>\n
