Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>The National Institute of Social Security in Zamb\u00e9zia has reported 311 companies to the administration of justice bodies for failing to pay the INSS what they owe, within the scope of the decree that stipulates the forgiveness of fines and interest for late payment.<\/p>\n

The debts amount to more than 66 million meticais, with 68 cases forwarded to the Public Prosecutor\u2019s Office and 243 to tax enforcement judge for coercive collection.<\/p>\n

The information was shared this Tuesday by Paulo Madjakunene, Delegate of the National Institute of Social Security, at the opening of the 9th session of the State Representation Council in Zamb\u00e9zia.<\/p>\n

Madjakunene also said that, under the decree whose validity ended on the 11th of this month, more than 16 million meticais in fines and interest for late payment was forgiven.<\/p>\n

Secretary of State for Zamb\u00e9zia Judite Mussakul challenged the INSS delegation to intensify awareness of the importance of social security among workers.<\/p>\n
