Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>Ang\u00f3nia district in Tete province may soon have on two new agro-processing industrial units, for potatoes and tomatoes.<\/p>\n

The enterprises will be built as part of the \u2018Industrialise Mozambique\u2019 presidential initiative, their implementation steps having already been identified.<\/p>\n

The Ang\u00f3nia district administrator Raimundo Bruno explained that supporting the agro-processing industry in the area would, by generating an internal market, mitigate loss of production by local farmers.<\/p>\n

Bruno also revealed that local authorities there are pursuing the idea of making the local Chindeque improved seeds processing unit operational.<\/p>\n

Ang\u00f3nia district boasts the highest concentration of commercial agriculture agents in Tete province.<\/p>\n
