Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>Rwanda has expressed an interest in using the Port of Nacala, in Nampula province, to facilitate the flow of the various goods it imports and exports.<\/p>\n

The High Commissioner of Mozambique in Rwanda, Amade Miquidade, said that the use of the Port of Nacala would be an asset to the country.<\/p>\n

\u201cConsidering Rwanda already uses Tanzania and Kenya as ports of departure and entry for its goods, why not add Mozambique to its import-export alternatives? I hope this projection becomes a reality, because it would increase the capacity of the Port of Nacala to serve the hinterland countries,\u201d Radio Mozambique quotes Miquidade as saying.<\/p>\n

High Commissioner Miquidade noted that the development was originally scheduled for July of this year, but for various reasons has been postponed to October.<\/p>\n
