Africa-Press<\/a> – Mozambique<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>The governor of Cabo Delgado, Valige Tauabo, has called for residents to be wary of rumours sparked by the arrival in the country last Friday of Rwandan military personnel supporting Mozambique in the fight against terrorism.<\/p>\n

Their arrival will be followed on Thursday, July 15, by that of SADC military personnel.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe population of Cabo Delgado has to be vigilant, and aware of what we don\u2019t know. When we\u2019re unsure, we take it to the authorities. To see a group of armed strangers passing by in a certain area is cause for surveillance, and that\u2019s where we\u2019ll draw attention. If you weren\u2019t aware of it, then you will find out through us,\u201d he stressed.<\/p>\n
