Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>WhatsApp will soon roll out a feature that will enable users to look for a message from any desired date without scrolling all the way up.<\/p>\n

The feature, which was first spotted by WABetaInfo, was tested two years ago but was scrapped.<\/p>\n

Users will be able to click the calendar icon on the right side of the keyboard.<\/p>\n

This will quickly help users jump to a certain date so they can start reading all messages from that exact date.<\/p>\n

To dismiss the date view, users can just scroll through the conversation.<\/p>\n

This feature will be very useful, particularly when you want to discover the first message shared with a certain contact or you want to read what messages were shared on a certain date.<\/p>\n
