Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>President Filipe Nyusi held a closed-door meeting with the President of Rwanda, Paul Kagame in Nairobi, Kenya, on Monday, during his visit to attend the inauguration of Kenya\u2019s President-elect, Wiliam Ruto, on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Nyusi also held meetings with several other delegations, including the special envoy of the Republic of South Korea.<\/p>\n

On Monday, the Rwanda High Commission to Mozambique wrote on Twitter: \u201cPresident Kagame met with President Filipe Jacinto Nyusi of Mozambique in Nairobi. The two leaders discussed ways to further strengthen the ongoing bilateral collaboration between Rwanda and Mozambique\u201d.<\/p>\n

Seventeen heads of state attended William Ruto\u2019s inauguration, including, apart from the President of the Republic, Tanzania\u2019s President Samia Suluhu Hassan; Zimbabwe\u2019s Emmerson Mnangagwa; DR Congo\u2019s Felix Tshisekedi; Uganda\u2019s Yoweri Museven); Guinea-Bissau\u2019s Umaro Sissoco Embalo; Rwanda\u2019s Paul Kagame; Congo\u2019s Denis Sassou Nguesso; Somalia\u2019s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud; Tanzania\u2019s Samia Suluhu; Malawi\u2019s Lazarus Chakwera; Burundi\u2019s Evariste Ndayishimiye; Eswatini Prime Minister Cleophas Dlamini; Seychelles\u2019 Wavel Ramkalawan; President of the Union of Comoros, Azali Assoumani; and the President of the African Union Commission, Moussa Faki Mahamat.<\/p>\n

A delegation representing the government and the people of Israel led by the Minister of Intelligence Elazar Stern and delegations from South Africa, the US, Iran, Nigeria, Egypt, Gambia, and India were also present, in addition to the secretary-general of the East African Community and representatives of the Intergovernmental Development Authority.<\/p>\n
