Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>At the Mozambique Gas & Energy Summit this Wednesday, Mozambican private sector bodies urged Cabo Delgado entrepreneurs to develop partnerships with international companies in order to leverage their productive capacity and help foster the business fabric of the province and country.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have to pay more attention to local content. Local companies in Cabo Delgado must partner with international companies in order to develop their potential,\u201d said Simone Santi, executive director of EuroCam, the Association of European Entrepreneurs in Mozambique and CEO of Leonardo Group. Santi pointed out that \u201cinternational companies have been presenting plans to promote local content, and this is the perfect time to form partnerships to leverage national companies\u201d.<\/p>\n

At the same summit session, Northern Integrated Development Agency (ADIN) chairperson Armindo Ngunga said that \u201cprojects designed for Cabo Delgado will have no effect without everyone\u2019s participation\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is necessary that we all work together to make a difference,\u201d he explained, underlining the existence of the \u201cCabo Delgado reconstruction plan, based on three pillars: humanitarian assistance, construction and replacement of infrastructure, and socio-economic support for families affected by terrorism\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe most important thing right now for families in Cabo Delgado is shelter,\u201d Ngunga added. \u201cLet\u2019s give them that shelter. We have already delivered tools and seeds for the population to produce food,\u201d so that aspect was covered.<\/p>\n
