Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>Three individuals aged between 35 and 46 have been detained in the Zamb\u00e9zia provincial PRM command for the sale of medicines illegally sourced from the National Health System.<\/p>\n

The arrest took place in Mugeba village market, in Mocuba district, where the detainees were found to be in possession of unspecified quantities of drugs.<\/p>\n

Asked about the origin of the medicines, the suspects alleged that they had bought them from private pharmacies in Mozambique and in neighbouring Malawi.<\/p>\n

PRM spokesman Miguel Caetano said that the detainees had been engaged in the illegal sale of National Health Service medicines for three years.<\/p>\n
