Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>After WhatsApp added emoji reactions to messages this year, it has allowed users to reply to status updates with an emoji.<\/p>\n

The function was first introduced to the desktop and is currently being rolled out to users on the mobile app.<\/p>\n

Emoji reactions for posts were introduced by Facebook as one of the first Meta services before being adopted by Instagram\u2019s message and status.<\/p>\n

Step 1<\/p>\n

Go to a person\u2019s status and then swipe up<\/p>\n

Step 2<\/p>\n

Choose a reaction emoji and press send.<\/p>\n

There are only 8 emoji reactions for now.<\/p>\n

It is also working on the ability to send voice notes to Statuses and the ability to show status updates right in your chat list.<\/p>\n
