Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>The City of Maputo this Thursday, November 10, celebrates 135 years of elevation to city status.<\/p>\n

On the occasion of the celebrations for the elevation of the city of Maputo, the Minister of Labour and Social Security, Margarida Talapa, has granted a special holiday (tolerancia de ponto) to all workers and civil servants in the country\u2019s capital.<\/p>\n

The document that Miramar had access to states that the special holiday does not cover workers whose activity, by its nature, cannot be interrupted.<\/p>\n

The celebrations of the capital city\u2019s 135th anniversary will be marked, among others, by the 17th edition of the Batuque (drumming) Festival.<\/p>\n
