The collection forecast for this year is 293.2 billion meticais, meaning that around 18 million meticais remains to be collected before the end of December.<\/p>\n

The information was shared on Wednesday afternoon by the President of the Tax Authority of Mozambique, Ame\u0301lia Muendane, at a balance sheet meeting for the 2022 fiscal year held with journalists in Maputo.<\/p>\n

While acknowledging that the Mozambican economy is currently experiencing what she classified as an \u201ceconomic hangover\u201d from the effects of Covid-19 and other factors, the President of the Tax Authority said that the country was in full recovery.<\/p>\n
