Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>President of the Republic Filipe Nyusi, who arrived yesterday in the capital of the United Arab Emirates to take part in the opening ceremony of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, has a series of meetings scheduled for this afternoon. The meetings involve various entities, with an emphasis on the business sector.<\/p>\n

United Arab Emirates business interests in Mozambique are known to involve the public works, housing, energy and agriculture sectors, and crucially feature the rehabilitation of National Highway Number 1 and various irrigation systems.<\/p>\n

Tomorrow (Tuesday, 17-01), the Mozambican head of state is due to visit a UAE Armed Forces\u2019 Training Centre, where he is expected to garner experience relevant to the capacity of the Mozambican Defence and Security Forces, within the scope of overcoming security challenges, including the fight against terrorism<\/p>\n
