Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>The Council of Ministers yesterday (24-01) approved the framing criteria for the regime, amounts of supplements, salary levels and grades of the Mozambican Defence Armed Forces [FADM] and members of the Police of the Republic of Mozambique (PRM). The cabinet meeting spokesperson did not reveal the approved figures.<\/p>\n

The Council of Ministers on Tuesday, in its third session so far this year, approved the new salary levels for the Armed Forces of Defence of Mozambique and the Police of the Republic of Mozambique.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Decree revising Decree No. 53\/2022, of 14 October, which defines the framework criteria, the regime, the amounts of supplements and the amounts of supplements for salary levels and levels of the Defence and Security Forces; the Decree that revises Decree No. 54\/2022, of 14 October, which defines the criteria for framing, the regime and the amounts of supplements for the echelon levels of the members of the Police of the Republic of Mozambique and other equivalent paramilitaries,\u201d explained Council of Minister spokesman Inoce\u0302ncio Impissa.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Decree establishes rules for implementing the Economic and Social Plan and State Budget (PESOE) of 2023, approved by Law No. of Economy and Finance, and delegates powers to the Minister of State Administration and Civil Service, Minister of Economy and Finance, sectoral ministers, provincial governors, secretaries of State at central level, Secretary of State in the province and Secretary of State in Maputo City, district administrators, heads of State bodies or institutions that are not under the authority of a minister and holders of the Bodies of the Administration of Justice System,\u201d the Deputy Minister of State Administration and Civil Service explained.<\/p>\n

The balance sheet for the 2022\/2023 festive season, the Regulations for the Selection Contest for the Permanent Secretary of Ministry, the status of the 2022\u20132023 rainy and cyclonic season and preparations for the commemoration of the Day of Mozambican Heroes (February 3rd) were also discussed at yesterday\u2019s cabinet meeting.<\/p>\n
