Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>Transportadora Ideal \u2018City Link\u2019 buses are back on the road, O Pai\u0301s reported on Friday (27-01).<\/p>\n

Transport minister Mateus Magala says that the necessary inspection was carried out, and a fine was imposed on the company and the driver of the bus caught last year driving with serious mechanical problems.<\/p>\n

Transportadora Ideal, which operates the City Link interprovincial passenger transport service, was suspended for 46 days after one of its buses was found to be in service.in the province of Manica on December 15th last year, despite serious mechanical deficiencies.<\/p>\n

The company was fined and the driver of the vehicle too.<\/p>\n

Minister Magala took the opportunity to announce that a campaign would be launched to rectify the problems besetting transport passenger buses, after which the Ministry would act with a \u201chard hand\u201d against irregularities.<\/p>\n
