Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>The National Roads Administration (ANE) in Cabo Delgado today announced the suspension of traffic on the Macomia-Oasse [Awasee], Mecufi-Mazeze, Namuno-Meloco and Namuno-Machoca road sections, Noti\u0301cias online reports. This is due to flooding and the appearances of large potholes following the heavy rain falling over the last few days.<\/p>\n

According to the ANE note, the Macomia-Awasse road was cut by flooding in the Messalo river basin. Traffic is suspended on the road connecting Mecufi-Mazeze due to flooding and cuts in the roadway, while the Namuno-Meloco section is severed by soil erosion, and the Namuno-Machoca section by unspecified damage to the platform.<\/p>\n
