{"id":34480,"date":"2023-02-22T10:34:20","date_gmt":"2023-02-22T10:34:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/mozambique\/all-news\/government-audits-implementation-of-the-tsu"},"modified":"2023-02-22T10:47:42","modified_gmt":"2023-02-22T10:47:42","slug":"government-audits-implementation-of-the-tsu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/mozambique\/all-news\/government-audits-implementation-of-the-tsu","title":{"rendered":"Government audits implementation of the TSU"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>The inspector general of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Emanuel Mabumo, announced on Monday (20-02), after a parliamentary hearing with the deputies of the Assembly of the Republic, that the government would carry out an audit of the implementation of the Single Salary Table (TSU), a process that will run until the 28th of this month, when preliminary results will be available.<\/p>\n<p>Mabumo told \u2018Noticias\u2019 that the team appointed to carry out the audit will survey the system itself, assess its effectiveness and relevance, and issue recommendations on solutions to any possible inconsistencies.<\/p>\n<p>The government also intends to assess the quality and veracity of the data about state employees and agents that the technicians linked to the implementation of the TSU processed and introduced electronically in the human resources management systems of public institutions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDuring the electronic processing of information, there is a risk that some data may be wrongly integrated into the platform,\u201d Mabumo said. \u201cThis is one of the things that the audit will investigate.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe idea is to detect and remedy the errors that may have occurred in the implementation of this instrument, because officials and agents of the state cannot be harmed,\u201d the inspector general explained. \u201cThe audit will help the government in the search for solutions most suitable for correcting possible nonconformities that may be detected, of which, for example, inadequate insertions stand out, looking at the criteria approved by law.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Despite being a digital procedure, Emanuel Mabumo recognizes that risks are not, from the outset, outright excluded, the procedure only reducing the risk of failures as far as possible.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cManagement control errors usually happen, contrary to what we might think, namely that, with the introduction of electronic platforms, we can lean back and relax, because everything will be solved.
