Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>Beira port has closed this Thursday morning ,\u201dconsidering weather forecasts that indicate the probability of Cyclone Freddy affecting the city of Beira from February 23rd 2023.\u201d Cornelder de Moc\u0327ambique has announced in a communique issued on Wednesday, 22nd February.<\/p>\n

\u201cSubject to the weather conditions improving,\u201d the port of Beira should reopen its gates and restart operations on Friday (February 24th) at 7 p.m. , reads the Cornelder comunique.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe appeal to our customers who may have trucks that are on route to the port of Beira to stay in safer places until the weather conditions improve,\u201d it concludes.<\/p>\n
