Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>The intense rains that have fallen in the southern region of the country recently, combined with dam discharges in neighbouring countries, have caused severe damage to the road network in the province, and is constraining the passability of some roads in the Save, Nhanombe and Mutamba river basins.<\/p>\n

In a statement sent to \u2018O Pai\u0301s\u2019, the National Roads Administration (ANE) in Inhambane enumerates the road sections experiencing restrictions, as follows.<\/p>\n

The ANE also reports that there are technical teams already on the ground monitoring the situation and assessing damage, with interventions underway to ensure transitability, while actions are ongoing to mobilize equipment and materials to repair the damage to the roads affected.<\/p>\n
