Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>The Deputy Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education, Edson Macua\u0301cua, joined participants from 118 countries across the world at the Education World Forum (EWF) in London, United Kingdom, from 7 to 10 May.<\/p>\n

The Education World Forum is the world\u2019s largest gathering of education and skills ministers. It comprises three days of insight and inspiration from pioneers, policymakers, and experts, with many sessions given by education ministers themselves as part of an honest assessment of education\u2019s common issues and challenges.<\/p>\n

This year, the Forum was held under the theme \u201cNew Beginnings: Nurturing Learning Culture, Building Resilience, Promoting Sustainability. Stronger, Bolder, Better Education by Design\u201d<\/p>\n

The Forum is an opportunity for states to strengthen international ties \u201ceven more\u201d through commitment to education.<\/p>\n

It is hoped that the discussions will help participants to tailor their policies and practical actions towards new beginnings for stronger, bolder and better education from the earliest years through school, college and university to lifelong learning.<\/p>\n

Among subjects addressed in the three-day event, the highlight goes to those related to the foundations of early learning, development of skills and the contribution of technology in the teaching and learning process.<\/p>\n

The EWF<\/b><\/p>\n

The Education World Forum (EWF), held annually in London, is the largest conference for education and skills ministers in the world. The event offers three days of insight and inspiration from leading education pioneers, policy makers and education experts, with many of the sessions given by education ministers themselves as part of an honest assessment of countries\u2019 common issues and challenges.<\/p>\n

EWF is supported by the UK\u2019s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), the Department for Education (DfE), the Department for Business and Trade (DBT), the British Council and EWF industry partners.<\/p>\n
