He was 76 years old.<\/p>\n<p>Narciso Pedro, who was the first president of the City Council of the city of Maxixe between 1998 and 2013, lost his life after a prolonged illness.<\/p>\n<p>In the last two weeks, the former mayor\u2019s state of health deteriorated, and he was first admitted to the Rural Hospital of Chicuque and later transferred to Inhambane Provincial Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Because of his illness, Narciso Pedro had not appeared in public recently, Radio Mozambique reports.
