This is the 13th time in 14 years that the bank has won the title.<\/p>\n<p>The 2023 award consolidates the bank\u2019s position as the most awarded financial institution in the country, highlighting Millennium bim\u2019s excellence in the Mozambican banking sector and recognizing its role in promoting the country\u2019s economic development.<\/p>\n<p>The bank\u2019s selection follows strict evaluation criteria covering the quality of the service provided to the customer, its financial performance, the soundness of its balance sheet, its geographical reach and capacity for technological innovation, leadership in the banking sector, a strategy aimed at customers and its commitment to corporate social responsibility.<\/p>\n<p>For the Global Finance jury, Millennium bim has demonstrated a high capacity for resilience and swift adoption of proactive measures in periods not favourable to economic development. \u201cAs the US financial crisis spreads to other regions, identifying the best banks in service, stability and institutional expertise is more important than ever,\u201d said Global Finance founder and editorial director Joseph D.
